Enjoy a dynamic performance of student stories.

All are invited to a special performance of "We Are Nebraska," in which student interns on campus use a hybrid of applied improv and applied theater to share their personal stories.

The performance is at 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 14 in the atrium of Hawks Hall. It is free and open to the public. Please RSVP at https://go.unl.edu/nebraskashow.

The approximately 60-minute performance will include real moments from the students’ personal stories as well as music, dance, and video components. Topics in the stories include race, gender issues, sexual orientation, religious, cultural and socioeconomic differences, civic engagement, environmental issues, depression and isolation.

The presentation will end with Q&A facilitated by one or more of the student interns. The action plan intended is to help every person on campus feel like they belong. By listening and watching about other cultures, experiences and lifestyles, the goal is to decrease feelings of anxiety, confusion and isolation.

The College of Business is pleased to be a co-sponsor of the "We Are Nebraska" program.
