Where do you count for Census 2020?

Make sure you are counted.
Make sure you are counted.

Even if you already moved back to your permanent residence, you should be counted in Lincoln.

For students in the residence halls and Greek chapter houses:
Students in colleges and universities with moves due to COVID-19 should be counted according to the residence criteria of where they lived on or before April 1 (likely at the school). This means students living in residence halls and Greek houses will be counted in Lincoln, even if they moved back to their permanent residence before April 1. The university will provide rosters from the Registrar’s Office to the U.S. Census Bureau.

For off-campus students:
You are encouraged to self-respond through July. Students can easily take the census from wherever they are - online, phone, or mail - without ever needing support from a census taker.

For all students:
The Census Bureau is delaying the start of the mobile questionnaire assistance program (starting April 13) and the start of the early nonresponse follow up operations (starting April 23).
