Even if you aren't planning to work in computer science or programming, coding is a highly useful skill. Tons of careers will require you to know at least some basic html coding, so it's smart to get a jump on learning some simple techniques. Codeacademy is a free coding instruction website where you can find lessons and games to teach you a multitude of different coding options. Whether you need to update a website, troubleshoot computer errors or analyze research results, coding is sure to come in handy at one time or another.
