Huskers tally 2,962 miles on foot in the Virtual Run Challenge

In five weeks, 117 UNL students, staff and faculty logged enough miles to travel the equivalent distance from Chicago, Illinois to Reykjavik, Iceland. The challenge - hosted by Intramural Sports - featured a series of distances for Huskers to complete: a 5k, 10k, half-marathon, and a marathon.
