This fall, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln joins six universities in the Big Ten Academic Alliance to provide expanded online course offerings. Through this new program, Nebraska undergraduates can take one online course from another participating Big Ten school each semester as part of their academic experience with all tuition and fees waived.

"We know COVID-19 has limited the educational experiences available to students this year and this initiative opens doors for academic opportunities across the Big Ten," said Executive Vice Chancellor Elizabeth Spiller. "We are committed to doing what we can for our students in this unprecedented moment."

A wide variety of courses will be offered including Supply Chain Security and Risk Management, Design Thinking and Creativity, Inequality: Determinants and Policy Remedies, Insect Biology, Introduction to the Built Environment, and Introduction to Sports Marketing and Management.

Nebraska students interested in courses at other universities in the program can find more information on the BTAA website.

Current undergraduate students are eligible to enroll in one online course at a participating university: Indiana University, University of Maryland, Michigan State University, The Ohio State University, Pennsylvania State University, and Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
