The Institute for Ethnic Studies and the African-American Studies program will commemorate Black History Month by exploring the role of Black musicians in inspiring social change.

From 7 to 8:30 p.m. February 25, 2021, a panel of diverse and distinguished Black scholars will talk about the songs that have captured their hearts and still revitalize their imaginations for social justice. How do these musical legacies inform Black liberation today?
