Are you set to (or hope to) intern in Washington, D.C. this summer? If so, check out the D.C. Professional Enrichment Academy designed to support and enhance your success throughout your internship.
The program, in its fourth year, is a free, value-added program that will bring you together with other Nebraska interns once a week and connects you with prominent D.C. alumni.
Through the Enrichment Academy, guest speakers cover topics such as "Policymaking in Congress" and "The News Media in American Democracy." You will benefit from thoughtful mentoring and programming, expanding your network, and learning to transition from college into your professional career, whether it will be in D.C. or not.
All current University of Nebraska students interning in Washington, D.C. during the summer are eligible for the program, including students from all four campuses and from any major or discipline, and in both remote and in-person internships. Academy activities will all be held remotely.
