Emmanuel Acho is set to headline a week of events celebrating 11 years of the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center.

For 11 years the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center has been a fixture on campus. It's a hub for learning, resources and support as well as a host for renowned guests where all are welcome. In honor of the 11th anniversary of the opening of this vital and vibrant campus entity, the Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services is hosting a weeklong celebration filled with enriching conversations and exciting events.

JGMC anniversary participants can partake in a myriad of fun and engaging activities. The events will highlight the importance of inclusive excellence and the richness of other cultures. From the fourth annual Multicultural Lip Sync Battle to an ultra-tasty edition of Chef it Up, there's something for everyone. The week will also include important conversations, including multiple Dish It Up conversations.

One huge highlight of the week will be a live stream event with Emmanuel Acho, host of Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man, sponsored by OASIS, UPC Nebraska, Lied Center for Performing Arts, and the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
