Tests should occur within 24 hours of students arriving to campus or Lincoln. Use the Safer Community app to select your test site and schedule your appointment, which must take place between Aug 15-22. If you have on-campus classes Monday, Aug 23, your test needs to take place by Aug 21.

Starting August 15, Husker have several on-campus options to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. All are walk-up options - no appointment is needed. Here's the dates, times, and locations.
On August 18, 20, 21 and 22, students can ride free shuttle busses from East Campus to attend Big Red Welcome evening events on City Campus. Busses will meet Huskers at Entomology Hall on the East Campus Mall and drop off at 14th & Vine St. Shuttles will return students throughout the evenings.
Staff and faculty will be stationed in three high-traffic locations on city campus to answer questions and direct students to their class destinations in academic buildings. Pre-semester class route tours are happening too.

[from Lincoln Journal Star] A one-year pilot program was set to end at the end of August, but Lincoln Transportation and Utilities officials want to extend the program to better evaluate how much the e-scooters are used when the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is in session.
Commission members will serve on one of eight working groups tasked with advising on the implementation of the master plan and acting as ambassadors for environmental, sustainability and resiliency goals on campus. Each group will have five to eight members including, at a minimum, one student rep.
The Cornhusker Marching Band’s annual exhibition concert returns Friday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Stadium. The concert is free and open to the public. Continue reading…
