Gender Equity Conference - registration deadline
November 3. is the last day to sign up.
The actual date of the conference is November 11, yet individuals need to register this week. Nebraska senator Megan Hunt will deliver the keynote address and the free day-long event will cover a wide variety of topics related to gender equity and intersectionality. Read more and sign up.

A team-relay race where agriculture skills and knowledge are challenged. FREE for UNL Students with Event Pass. Events include Tug-of-War; Range ID; Hay Bale Stacking; Roping Dummies; Tractor Tire Flipping; Pie Eating; Piggyback Barrel Racing; Feed Sack Races; and Dress-A-Goat. Read more and sign up.

Assertiveness Training Workshop

In this introduction to assertiveness skills, students will learn how to stand your ground and speak your piece by discussing passive, aggressive and assertive communication styles. Participants will review ‘assertive rights,’ which may help find a middle path towards balancing personal rights with the rights of others. Hosted by CAPS.

Diwali Night
Saturday, November 6 | 5:30 p.m. | Nebraska East Union, Great Plains Room
Hosted by India Student Association. Huskers, friends, and family are invited for a night full of fun, food, and frolic. Diwali is the most significant and famous festival of India, signifying the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.

Free Skate Night
