Explore and Understand: Homelessness
Homelessness is defined as the situation of an individual, family, or community that is without stable, safe, permanent, appropriate housing, or the immediate means and ability of acquiring it.
Those experiencing homelessness might be living in a place not meant for human habitation, in an emergency shelter, in transitional housing, or are exiting an institution where they temporarily resided.
Huskers can learn more about homelessness by reading this article.
