UNL was selected for a grant to help Nebraska students obtain a U.S. passport and support their global learning journeys. The funding expands the current Husker Passport Giveaway from 100 to 125 students and provides specific support for first-year students who are Pell grant-eligible.

The university will continue to offer free, voluntary, on-campus testing for COVID-19 through the summer. The saliva-based testing will be available to students, faculty and staff at the site outside the Nebraska Union. Testing hours are available six days a week, Sunday–Friday.
