UNL students are invited to Take Initiative with Define American from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. November 9 at Nebraska Union to learn about and get engaged with refugee communities.

Residence Hall Association
The organization is hosting their annual Fall Door Decoration Contest through November 10 for students living in the residence halls. Share a photo of your fall or Halloween-theme decorated door on Instagram and tag @unlrha for a chance to win big prizes. Per regulation, all decorations must be above the door handle.

Join the club for Pie-Face-Olympics from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. November 10 at Nebraska Union to participate in Thanksgiving-themed relay races. Bring tennis shoes and clothes that can get dirty because if you lose, you might just walk away with some pie in your face.

Join the club to celebrate all the UNL A Capella groups on campus at UNL A Capella Night from 7:30 to 9 p.m. November 10 in the Nebraska East Union Great Plains Room. Bathtub Dogs, Boots & Cats, Pitch Please, The Red Keys, Rocktavo, and Take Note will all be performing. Admission is free for UNL students, faculty and staff with EventPass and $5 for the public.

Celebrate the delight that is Indian culture and join the club for a night full of fun, food and frolic at Diwali Night 2022 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. November 12 in Nebraska Union Centennial Room. Diwali is the most significant and famous festival of the India and spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.
