A series of listening sessions in February will allow for public input on the search for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s next chancellor. UNL students can opt to participate in Zoom sessions on Feb 7 & 10, as well as two in-person student listening sessions on Feb 9.

Since arriving on campus as a first-generation student in 2019, Dulce Garcia has advocated for and helped create welcoming, inclusive spaces for all students. Garcia was presented with the award by Chancellor Ronnie Green during the MLK Commemoration Celebration Jan. 25.

The Lied's ARTS FOR ALL program provides tickets to UNL students at a discounted price for select shows & performances. This spring, students get all nine AFA shows for FREE. Tickets are first-come, first-served and the shows are happening Feb–May.

All the events on this list are FREE-ish for UNL students. Two events give a grand start to Black History Month with exhibits celebrating Black artists and photographers. Play in the H.OR.S.E tourney at the Rec Center. Enjoy five Husker Athletic events on Saturday.
Students who have promoted healthy decision-making and responsibility in regard to alcohol use among their peers are encouraged to apply for the Laura Cockson Memorial Scholarship. Applications for this $1,000 award are due by February 10.
