Morning Coffee Ride
Friday, April 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Student/Member: FREE
Bike, helmets, drinks, and instruction are all provided.
Start your morning off with a relaxing bike ride before classes. During the ride you can make new friends, drink some coffee (or other morning beverages) and get some exercise in.
Mountain Bike Ride
Wednesday, April 12 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, April 25 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Student/Member: $10
Learn the basics of mountain biking and ride the smooth, rolling trails in Van Dorn Park. This is the perfect opportunity for new beginners to learn new bike skills.
Blue Mounds & Palisades Climbing Trip
April 14-16: overnight trip
Student/Member: $100
Required Pre-Trip Meeting: Apr. 11 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Located along the Minnesota and South Dakota border just four hours from Lincoln, Blue Mounds and Palisades State Park houses 50-60 foot climbs ranging for beginners to veterans alike.
River Kayaking Trip
Saturday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Student/Member: $35
Spend your weekend kayaking down a regional river in Nebraska, where you will learn the basics of kayaking and paddling safety beforehand.
Lake Paddle
Friday, April 21 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Student/Member: $15
Join Outdoor Adventures at Holmes Lake for a relaxing evening learning to paddleboard and to meet new people.
Overnight Bike Camping
April 22-23: overnight trip
Saturday – Sunday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Student/Member: $35
Required Pre-Trip Meeting: Apr. 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Take some time to get away and learn the basic skills of bike camping to one of Nebraska’s state recreation areas where you will also learn to cook dinner and breakfast overlooking a lake.
The cost of this trip covers all of the transportation, activity-related gear and camping equipment, meals while at the activity site, camping fees, permits, leadership and instruction for the program.
Zoo & Ice Cream Bike Ride
Saturday, April 29 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Student/Member: $15
Meet with other bikers at Outdoor Adventures where you will bike to the Lincoln Zoo and see some of the animals, then continue your ride to the Dairy Store located on East Campus for a sweet treat.
