Global Experiences Fair
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. September 18, Nebraska East Union Great Plains Room

Enhance your experience at Nebraska by participating in an international study, internship, research, or service learning program. With many unique programs in over 70 countries, you can find the perfect fit for your academic, personal, and/or professional goals, as well as your budget. Join program partners to learn more about opportunities and jump-start your global experiences journey.


Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga
2 to 3 p.m. September 19
Campus Recreation Center Pool

Take your practice of yoga to a new level: on the water. This class uses paddle boards to create a new twist to yoga poses. Improve your strength, flexibility, and balance in this class.

ASUN Student Government Open House
4:15 to 6:15 p.m. September 20
Nebraska Union Room 136

Drop by to meet your elected student representatives in person and to discover the upcoming opportunities for you to be involved with UNL’s student government and work on behalf of all students.

Explore ASUN’s open positions. At the Open House, attendees can inquire about details of the openings and ask representatives about the current work of each committee, task force, and board.


Mountain Bike Ride
5 to 8 p.m. September 21
Outdoor Adventure Center

If you love spending time on your bike and want to take your biking to the next level this is the trip for you. Located only 3.5 miles from UNL, Van Dorn Park features a 1.5-mile loop of smooth and rolling single-track mountain bike trails -- the perfect spot for beginners and people who want to learn new bike skills. No prior experience is required. Transportation, bikes, helmets, and instruction are all provided.

First Gen Share-a-Meal
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. September 21
Willa Cather Dining Complex, Lark Private Dining Room

Being a first-gen college student can be tough - but you’re not alone. The first-gen share-a-meal is a time for first-gen students to meet instructors and staff members who are also first-gen. You don’t need a meal plan to participate - this event provides a free meal to all first-gen students who attend. Just scan your Ncard with one of the volunteers when you arrive.


Student Night at the Ross
5 to 10 p.m. September 21
Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center-Van Brunt Visitors Center

Show your student ID to get $1.00 tickets, popcorn, and drinks for all screenings of CLOSE TO VERMEER and WAR PONY at The Ross on Thursday, September 21. $1 tickets are only available at the Ross Box Office (not available online).

Innovation Challenge
5 to 7 p.m. September 21 to 25
College of Business, Howard L. Hawks Room (HLH 120)

Test your entrepreneurial creativity, meet new friends, learn from founders, and solve a problem. This challenge is open to all Nebraska students and is the first of four signature events hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurship over the academic year to take your ideas into a funded startup.
