Space Allocation Timeline and Procedures
Friday, 5 p.m., February 8, 2013:
The deadline for applications is Friday, 5 p.m., February 8, 2013. Completed applications need to be turned into the Student Involvement office, Suite 200, Nebraska Union. Only completed applications will be reviewed. Late applications will be considered if space available. Preferential treatment is not given to current space users.
Thursday, March 7, 2013:
The Nebraska Union Board Space Allocation Committee makes recommendations to the Nebraska Union Board at the Thursday, March 7, 2013* meeting at 5 p.m. in the Nebraska Union.
Thursday, March 28, 2013:
Nebraska Union Board hears appeals for Space Allocation. Appeals to the Nebraska Union Board can be made at its Thursday, 5 p.m., March 28, 2013* meeting in the Nebraska Union.
Eligibility Criteria for Requesting Office/Storage Space
Only ASUN Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) in total compliance with ASUN policies and requirements (see ASUN Bylaws Section 5) are eligible to apply for space. Organizations with Letter of Intent, Ad Hoc or Student Election Group status are ineligible.
All applicants must be without a substantial debt. If a debt does exist, a debt reduction plan may be accepted as evidence of intent to make good on the debt. Verification is provided by Student Organization Financial Services (SOFS) and Nebraska Unions Accounting.
All applicants must be in compliance with all University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) policies and procedures with regard to student organizations. Organizations under disciplinary sanctions/ probation are ineligible. Verification is provided by Student Judicial Affairs and Student Involvement.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
