UNL Campus Recreation is offering Ballroom and Country Dance Lessons from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday nights Feb. 5-26. Classes will meet at the Nebraska East Union.

Participants will learn the waltz, swing, slow dance, country two-step, Latin, and disco steps. The class instructor will adapt the types of dances taught according to the interest of the class.

Classes are open to UNL students, faculty/staff, and general public. It is recommended to sign up with a partner to ensure you have someone to practice with during class.

Cost is $20 for UNL students and CREC members; $25 for general public. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to sign up with a partner so they can better practice the dance steps.

Sign up in advance online or at the Campus Rec Center or EC Activities Building; you can also register at the first class. For information call 402-472-3467
