Her abstract is entitled “Epigenetic Synergies between Methyl Donors and Biotin in Gene Repression are Mediated by Holocarboxylase Synthetase (HLCS).” The finalists will participate in an oral competition to be held during the ASN’s Scientific Sessions and Annual Meeting at the Experimental Biology 2013 conference this April in Boston, MA. Ms. Xue has received a travel grant award from ASN to assist with the cost of attending the conference. From the 12 finalists, three winners will be selected by a panel of judges. Each winner will also receive a $500 cash award and be recognized during the ASN’s Awards Ceremony at the end of the conference.
