Islam Awareness Week will be coming to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this February, hosted by Muslim Student Association. It will be an exciting three day event full of talks, exhibitions, treats, and many more things that will give students on UNL campus a real insight to Islam, and what being a Muslim entails (free admission).
Our three day event will consist of the following:
February 23rd, 2016 at 4pm, there will be a Lecture followed by a panel discussion with Muslims.
Place: Regency A, City Union
February 24rd, 2016 between 1pm-3pm, It’s Hijab? Try it on! Women in Islam, clearing up the stereotypes.
Place: Red Wall (by Subway), City Union
February 25th, 2015 between 12:30pm-3:00pm, we will have booths about Islamic Art, Architecture and More.
Place: Ubuntu Room/202, City Union
