Five of the traditional choirs from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music plus an annual guest choir (this year, the premiere choir from Norris High School, located just south of Lincoln) will combine in the new, incredible Newman Center at the corner of 16th and Q streets for a holiday concert titled Welcome All Wonders (formerly Cocoa and Carols) on Sunday, December 4 at both 3 and 7:30 p.m.

The University of Nebraska’s flagship choral ensemble, University Singers, plus the Chamber Singers, the Varsity Men’s Chorus, the University Women’s Chorale, the Collegiate Chorus, and the guest choir will perform familiar carols and also carols from all remote places of the globe.

Familiar carols will include “The First Nowell,” “Of the Father’s Love Begotten,” “I Heard the Bells On Christmas Day,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” and many others.

The concert will include music for brass, percussion, organ, and singers. The concert is free of charge.
