The Symphony Orchestra’s performance on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall will feature one of the greatest and most popular orchestral showpieces of all time and will also showcase some of the finest student talent of the Glenn Korff School of Music.
The second half of the Tuesday night concert will consist of Modest Mussorgsky’s spectacular Pictures at an Exhibition, as orchestrated by the French master Maurice Ravel. The first half of the performance will feature solo performances with the orchestra by the four winners of the 2017-18 Glenn Korff School of Music Graduate and Undergraduate Solo Competitions. Director of Orchestras Tyler Goodrich White conducts, along with Graduate Associate Conductors David Galant and Kao Zhou.
