You may have a hard time dreaming up a meal from the random boxed and canned items in your pantry, but we’ve got your back. Give your pantry a good ol’ spring cleaning with Cooking Down Your Pantry. The Nebraska Beef Council will lead us through how to use items commonly found in your pantry or at the Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+ to make a yummy and fulfilling meal. This evening Mitch Rippe will be cooking up Ground Beef and Pasta Skillet Primavera.
FREE with the donation of canned good. Cash donations will also be accepted.
Donations go to help support the Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+. The Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+, located on the 3rd floor of the Nebraska Union (room 348), provides a one-stop location to assist students. By simply presenting their NCard, students can receive food and hygiene items for free. Information about community resources for housing and other food assistance programs also are available.
