Free Flu Shots For Students Are Now Available!

Flu shots are free for all UNL students.
Flu shots are free for all UNL students.

Free flu shots are now available to students at the University Health Center.

There are two ways to get your free flu shot:
1. Students who are 19 and older are eligible to attend one of our walk-in flu shot clinics held throughout the month of October. The flu shot clinic schedule is available at health.unl.edu/flu.
2. Students who are unable to attend a walk-in clinic or are 18 and younger may make an appointment at the health center by calling 402.472.5000. Please note that this option may require a small wait.

You must bring your NCard with you. If attending a walk-in clinic, you must fill out the 2018-19 Completed Flu Shot Form available at health.unl.edu/flu and bring it with you.

If you are 18 or younger, you must have parental permission to receive a flu shot at your health center appointment. You have two options:
1. If you are 18 years old, your parent or guardian can fill out, have notarized and send the health center a Power of Attorney form. If your parent or guardian has already submitted this form, another submission is not required.
-OR-
2. If you don't want a parent to fill out a Power of Attorney form or if you are 17 years old or younger, health center staff will call you at the time of your appointment for verbal consent.
