China trip planned for 2018
China trip planned for 2018

OLLI and the UNL Confucius Institute are working together, again, to organize a 10-day trip to China in May 2018, departing after May 7. This trip, like the trip in 2014, will cover three representative cities in China: Beijing, the nation’s political and cultural center; Xi’an, an ancient city which served as capital for 13 dynasties in Chinese history; and Shanghai, a modern and thriving metropolis.

Some highlights will include Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum, Forest of Tablets, Muslim Street Market, travel on the high speed express train and much more.

To help prepare for this trip, there will be courses scheduled in terms 3 and 4 and orientation meetings. The staff of the Confucius Institute will assist you with acquiring a passport and complete all of the necessary preparation. Group size will be limited to 15-20 people.
