Continuing our successful series of breakfasts with UNL coaches, we kick off this year with Fungai Tongoona, associate head coach of UNL’s men’s tennis team. Those who follow UNL men’s tennis may remember him as a two-year team captain back in 2001
and 2002. Originally from Zimbabwe, he lettered for the Huskers all four years of his career as a student athlete. Now entering his sixth season as a Husker coach, Coach Tongoona has been a certified tennis teaching professional since 2002, serving as head professional at the Southlake Tennis Center in Texas as well as the Woods Tennis Center here in Lincoln. Join us as we share a meal and conversation with Coach Tongoona.
