The Lincoln Community Playhouse is set to open performances of “Camelot” September 15- 17 and 21-24 with curtain times at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays.

In Medieval England, King Arthur hopes to create an idyllic kingdom guided by honor and righteousness, embodied by his Knights of the Round Table. But Arthur’s perfect world is an illusion; his wife Guinevere secretly loves the handsome and noble knight, Lancelot. With enchantment, pageantry, and glorious melodies, Lerner and Loewe’s classic won’t “Let it be forgot/That once there was a spot/For one brief shining moment that was known as Camelot.”

The Lincoln Community Playhouse offers OLLI members a ticket discount to some performances. For tickets, call the box office 402-489-7529.
