What does in-person learning look like for fall?

As the University of Nebraska-Lincoln plans for in-person classes in the fall, we are working closely with local health authorities to ensure safety for our campus and community.

Our Forward to Fall task force is collaborating with colleges, facilities and instructors to make sure different class sizes and formats can safely meet within social distancing and health guidelines.

For example, courses in the College of Arts and Sciences, including the Achievement-Centered Education (general education) classes, are following flexible models of instruction to provide meaningful on-campus experiences for students.

While there will not be one solution for all classes — different disciplines will require different approaches — these models provide more information about how classes are being developed for fall.

Individual colleges, departments and instructors will be working diligently throughout the summer to provide additional details for specific classes as they become available.
