Out of abundance of caution for the extended Husker community, Family Weekend at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will be offered virtually in fall 2020.

After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel on-campus events for Family Weekend, October 2-4, 2020. The health and safety of the entire Husker family is the university’s top priority, so out of an abundance of caution, we will not ask families to return to campus this fall. Instead, we encourage family members to participate in their student’s college experience and offer academic and emotional support by phone and through digital platforms like Facetime and Zoom.

While Family Weekend will look different this fall, we hope that Husker families and friends, wherever they are, will join us to celebrate together virtually. Virtual events will be held the weekend of October 2-4, and may include tours, games and other custom programming. A full schedule of activities will be posted by September 1.
