Bags and boxes full of puzzles, toys and tiny clothes took over the Women’s Center the week of Dec. 13. The items were collected for Holidays for Little Huskers, a toy drive organized since 2018 to benefit the smallest members of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln community.

The American Institute of Architects’ Nebraska chapter presented DLR Group its highest design honor for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Dinsdale Family Learning Commons. The extensive $22.5 million renovation revitalized and completely changed the landscape of the university’s East Campus.

Seventeen University of Nebraska–Lincoln students will be recognized as Chancellor’s Scholars during the undergraduate commencement ceremony Dec. 18. Chancellor’s Scholars are students who have maintained 4.0 grade-point averages on all collegiate work at Nebraska and elsewhere.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln conferred 1,344 degrees during commencement exercises Dec. 17 and 18 at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The 1,316 graduates are from 41 countries, 43 states and the District of Columbia, and more than 150 Nebraska communities.
