The Second-Year Edge Learning Community (LC) helps students strengthen their academics and connect with new friends while living in upper-division housing at University Suites.
Second-Year Edge students are guided by a peer mentor who cultivates the community with fun, engaging programming that also supports student academic goals. This particular Learning Community gives students an opportunity to explore a variety of career paths, connects them to the Lincoln community, and offers trips and experiences with LC peers.
Students sign up for Second-Year Edge when filling out their new housing contract for the next academic year.
Once the contract is completed and signed, Learning Communities staff will send a message to the student's Husker email with the next steps.
