You may already know that your student can use the University Health Center when they get sick or injured. However, did you know we offer more than just primary care? Read on to learn about five services your student can use on campus.

1. Pharmacy
The University Health Center Pharmacy is a convenient option for students needing medication. Our pharmacy offers hundreds of over-the-counter products, hassle-free prescription transfers and refills, and safe medication disposal. Updated COVID-19 vaccines are also available at the pharmacy.

2. Physical Therapy
Recover faster and move better with the help of our physical therapy team. Potential treatment methods with our care team include aquatic therapy, cupping, dry needling, Kinesio taping, and more. A brief discussion with a physical therapy team member about the benefits of their services is covered by student fees.

3. Dental
Instead of trying to cram in appointments during the holiday break, have your student schedule their dental appointments with the health center’s dental clinic. Our licensed dentists, dental hygienists, and certified dental assistants partner to provide quality dental care, including routine exams, cleanings, and treatment.

4. Concussion Clinic
Whether it’s a car accident, slip and fall, or sports-related injury, our expert neuropsychologist can diagnose concussions and help your student manage their symptoms – located in the historic Memorial Stadium.

5. Nutrition Counseling
Our registered dietitian can help your student create healthy eating habits that give them the energy and strength they need. They’ll work with the dietitian to create a plan that meets their unique goals and expands their nutrition knowledge. Students who pay student fees can receive their first nutrition counseling visit for no additional cost.

The University Health Center helps keep students healthy so they can achieve their goals. For more information on what we offer to help your student and the cost of care, please visit our website at health.unl.edu.
