UNL Parents Recognition Ceremony, February 8, at the UNL Nebraska City Union, 14th and R Streets, in the Centennial Room from 12:30 until approximately 5:00 p.m. Please contact Tonda by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4. This is a very nice event where UNL faculty and staff who have made a difference in the life of a UNL student are recognized for their care and effort. The faculty and staff appreciate this award in particular because their nominations come directly from parents and students. We encourage you to be a part of this wonderful event.
UNL Parents Association Winter meeting, February 8, at the UNL Nebraska City Union, 14th and R Streets, Room Posted on the Daily Calendar of Events, starting immediately after the UNL Parents Recognition Ceremony. Please let Tonda know if you will be able to attend this meeting by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4. We want to give parents a chance to be involved and to make a difference at UNL. Please consider joining us for this important meeting.
Big Red Road Show, March 3, 2013, at CenturyLink Center in Omaha from 11:30-3:30 p.m.. Please contact Tonda by 3:00 p.m. on February 1. We need to know: the names of all adult volunteers, t-shirt size, transportation (will you drive yourself or will you want to take the bus from the UNL Van Brunt Visitor’s Center/CenturyLink). We cannot guarantee t-shirts or bus transportation for anyone signing up after the February 1 deadline. In addition, last year a group of volunteers went together to The Old Mattress Factory, a Bar and Grill, near CenturyLink. If you would be interested in doing that, please let Tonda know and we will try to get a general consensus.
