A parent herself, Dr. Donde Plowman, James Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration, understands how important it is for the college to connect with the parents of students.

“It was only a few years ago that I dropped my son off for college and I remember all too well how I often wished for more information about his educational experience,” Plowman said. “The purpose behind our new new page on our website is to provide insight about CBA through interviews with other parents and by having them sign up to receive college updates as insiders.”

Parents of CBA students are encouraged to sign up to receive updates about CBA news and happenings via the parent section of the website. It also encourages them to follow or like the CBA social media channels in order to stay informed.

“CBA is the place for your student to start something whether it is their next chapter, their career or even a business. I encourage you to utilize the services available to students and parents,” she said. “Thank you for the support you give your student and the UNL College of Business Administration.”

Parents may also talk to Plowman at the UNL Parents Weekend on Saturday, September 28 at 10 a.m. Register by September 13 at: http://parentsassoc.unl.edu/parents-weekend or call Tonda Humphress at 402-472-3755.
