The College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln celebrates a new school year with the Third Annual Back to School Bash on Friday, August 21 from 3-6 p.m. CBA new and returning students, parents, alumni, business partners, faculty, staff and administrators are invited to network with the CBA community, enjoy Valentino’s pizza and Pepsi products, win prizes and dance to the band, Lemon Fresh Day. RSVP by Monday, August 17 at http://cba.unl.edu/bash.

Dr. Donde Plowman, James Jr. and Susan Stuart Dean said, “The Back to School Bash is one of our most popular events because it provides a fun opportunity for our CBA community to come together to start another exciting year. The Bash gives all involved with CBA the chance to meet our faculty and staff, and hear more about our new College of Business Administration Building. In July we will hit the milestone of 100 days of construction, and those who attend the bash will hear about its progress and more.”

Sandhills Publishing, the bash’s platinum sponsor, will have a table staffed by CBA alumni and former interns to provide giveaways. The event offers the chance for attendees to get their photo taken, receive CBA sunglasses and win lunch with the Dean or a Start Something Prize Pack at tables staffed by Undergraduate Programs, Graduate Programs, Career Services at CBA, Information Technology Services and Communications, Marketing and External Relations. This year students and alumni can interact with faculty and staff in “Department Row,” featuring tables staffed by the college’s five academic departments: School of Accountancy, economics, finance, management and marketing.
