Last spring Student Involvement began testing a new program to help international students practice their English while connecting with domestic students. After four successful meetings in April, it was clear that Coffee Talks were a success. Now the program is offered twice per week.

Conversations run the gamut from planning fall break getaways around the Midwest to discussing traditional festivals and foods from students’ home countries. All students, taff and faculty are invited and encouraged to stop by to chat. The activity takes place each Tuesday from 3-4 p.m. and Friday from 1-2 p.m. in the Nebraska Union across from Subway.
