"What should I wear?" the text reads. When it comes to interview and work attire, many students are unsure of what is appropriate and may turn to you for help. Moreover, finding it may not fit in their student budget. Again, they may turn to you for help. If your student has or will soon have a need for work-appropriate clothing, encourage them to attend Husker Suit-UP on April 7.

Husker Suit-UP is co-sponsored by Career Services and JCPenney. At this exclusive one-night event, Nebraska students will receive a 40% discount on all regular, sale and clearance pieces of professional attire. Your student could walk away with items that are over 70% off original price! Tell them to stop by JCPenney at Gateway Mall from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on April 7 to take part in this budget-saving event.

Meet the Nonprofits is an exciting event from Career Services. This new event allows students to meet with professionals in the nonprofit field. The nonprofit sector is less familiar to most students, so it can be extremely beneficial for interested students to hear from those who were once in their shoes. They will be given advice, directed to new opportunities, and be able to learn more about dynamic and engaging careers in this sector. Meet the Nonprofits is April 2 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Ballroom.

Hire Big 10+ Virtual Career Fair is another networking opportunity brought to your student by Career Services. Your student won't even need to leave home to participate in this event! By registering for this event, they'll be able to schedule 1:1 call times with employers across the country. This career fair is April 10 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and students can register for free at any time at http://www.careereco.com/events/hirebig10. If students need a quiet place to interview through the event, Career Services offers first-come, first-served interview rooms students can reserve by contacting the office.

Alert your student to all of these opportunities!
