Legislative Intern
A Legislative Intern at Jensen Rogert Associates will typically work 5-20 hours per week starting in mid to late January and continuing into mid to late March. Candidates will need to have some afternoon weekday availability. The Intern will attend legislative hearings; help coordinate clients of the firm to meetings and hearings; staff client events with State Senators and Senator fundraisers (mostly evening cocktail receptions, but some lunch and breakfast events); attend meetings with other lobbyists and Senators and their staff; conduct research on various client related legislative issues; and other duties as assigned in assisting the office in what can be extremely busy and fast paced days. Potential opportunity for some work this fall.
