This Lunch and Learn is open to Political Science majors and faculty only. Pizza will be provided. Please complete this form so we can have plenty of food for everyone. RSVP Here

Volodymyr was born and raised in Ukraine, where he completed high school and was preparing to enroll in a Ukrainian university when Russia’s full-scale invasion changed his life completely. When the war began, his father immediately joined the military (had no military experience before), and his family was forced to leave their home. He, his mother, and sister relocated to Germany, then spent several months near the Welsh border, and later moved to London, where he completed his secondary education. Eventually, he moved to the United States to continue my academic journey at UNL.

Volodymyr says “like every Ukrainian, my life has been deeply shaped by the war. The past four years have been filled with challenges, displacement, resilience, and profound personal growth.”
