Martha Young joined the Business Services Procurement department in April 2005 as a Project Assistant and transitioned to her current position as a Procurement Systems Associate. Martha is available to answer your questions regarding SAP and eSHOP procurement. She helps trouble shoot required changes for purchasing documents and supports the Manager of Procurement Systems.
Martha states; “I have met so many wonderful people during my nearly fourteen years. The University has so many talented and interesting folks that keep the wheels turning. Each person has taught me invaluable lessons and enriched my time working for UNL.” She loves the interaction with both external and internal customers. She enjoys working behind the scenes and states her focus is on customer service and sharing what she knows to assist others in navigating eSHOP and SAP.
When not at work, Martha enjoys time with her family and fiancé. Martha loves reading, singing and is expanding her skills with home improvement projects. Her mom’s Rueben sandwich is her favorite but she is always willing to eat Mexican food. Yogurtini sorbet is a special treat but you cannot beat Kemp’s Homemade Vanilla ice cream plain or with just about anything on the top!
