1. How long have you been at your institution?
29 years.

2. What inspired you to get involved in S-STEM work?
I have a MS in electrical engineering and worked 15 years as a computer engineer so have a technical background.

3. What is your favorite class to teach?
Electronic circuit analysis.

4. What advice would you give someone who wants to work in a closer partnership between 2YC and 4YC?
Develop a good working relationship and learn each other’s culture before entering a partnership.

5. What is the current goal of your PLC?
Make improvements to already existing transfer courses.

6. What skill do you think is most valuable for students considering a STEM career?
A determination to stay with the effort and do the work necessary for completion.

7. Tell us about a most rewarding experience that you have had during your STEM career.
When graduates come back and say they are successful in their current careers because of things they learned in my classes.
