The Student Involvement team is excited to continue hosting a series of workshops to help you stay connected and to exercise your mind. These workshops are open to anyone within the UNL community, and will cover a wide variety of topics for both individual growth and team development. Below is the next line-up of offerings:
Election Workshop for RSOs
Wednesday, June 3rd from 4-4:45 p.m.
It’s important to complete your elections for your RSO to ensure continued success and we want to help your group continue to host events, recruit new students and more. In this quick session, we’ll show you how to use the Messaging and Election tools on NvolveU as well as the breakout room feature in Zoom to help you hold virtual elections. Bring your questions and election information and we can help you! RSVP for this workshop on NvolveU at: https://unl.campuslabs.com/engage/event/5712622
Effective Meeting Management
Thursday, June 4th from 4-5 p.m.
Do your meetings look like the final fight scene of Avengers End game? Are they so boring that members look for excuses to escape like Pam faking labor in The Office? Meetings can be fun, organized and productive. So join our in-house experts to learn how to take your meetings from disaster to blockbuster! RSVP for this workshop on NvolveU at: https://unl.campuslabs.com/engage/event/5712623
Getting Outside (Even During a Pandemic)
Tuesday, June 9th from 4:30-5:15 p.m.
Discovering adventure under 'social distancing' may take some creativity, but we firmly believe you can find it. Join the Outdoor Adventures crew as they show you their favorite ways to get out while still practicing social distancing as well as highlight a few resources so you can get creative to find your own adventure wherever you may be this summer. Understanding your Meyer-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
Thursday, June 18th from 1-2 p.m.
The MBTI is the most widely used personality assessment. As a participant, you will learn: What your individual personality preference is, where you get your energy, how you acquire or gather information, how you make decisions or judgments, and how you relate to the outer world. The understanding of preferences allows individuals to communicate and work more effectively with others. RSVP for this workshop on NvolveU at: https://unl.campuslabs.com/engage/event/5718143
