Our team received a lot of questions about the Fall and in person events. Even though we don't have all the answers quite yet, we wanted to provide you some sort of guidance for planning.
Student Involvement developed a Risk Management Matrix specifically focused on RSO event planning. This in depth document helps you identify what high risk items are directly related to your event. The self guided Matrix will indicate if your plans are very high, high, medium, or low risk.
You will then see some ideas how to mitigate that risk if it is too high for your RSO's comfort. Mitigating risk simply means finding safer ways to host your events. You'll see ideas like clear signage, extra hand sanitizer, PPE suggestions and more. These are guidance for you to plan a fun and safe in person event!
