We heard from many of our RSOs - Big Red Welcome events were a hit! Many of your groups had tons of interest. Now the big question - how does your RSO keep those students involved?
There are a few tips we'd like to share with your groups.
1. Check your NvolveU Membership Requests, found under Roster. You may have many students who have asked to join on NvolveU. Don't leave them hanging! If you have a unique membership selection process, reach out to those students using the Send Message feature. Answer questions new members have openly.
2. Send a special invitation to interested students - they want to join you at your meetings. Make sure to mark your meetings as "Public" or "Students & Staff at NvolveU" on your EPRs for wider visibility on your portal.
3. Keep your portal and your social media accounts updated.
4. Build a welcoming and engaging environment for new, interested members.
