The Student Assistant for Student Organizations provides assistance to Student Leadership, Involvement, & Community Engagement (SLICE) in the delivery of programs, services, and events to Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) through the Consultation Desk, as well as helping to create an environment where activities and programs foster healthy development to student organization leaders.
This role allows you to help other students while gaining customer service experience, problem solving and critical thinking skills, hone your interpersonal communication skills, and interact with professionals and departments all across campus. We like to have fun in the SLICE office so this role isn't your boring desk job. This job includes a great deal of variety in job responsibilities, every day is different, and you will gain the transferable skills needed to apply for jobs after you graduate.
