Do I Need to Re-Register my RSO?

Re-Register Your RSO?
Re-Register Your RSO?

There has been an update to NvolveU and the layout/look of the platform now looks different. Due to this change, you will be seeing a blue re-registration button and alert message on your RSO portal on NvolveU more frequently than you used to see it. What does this button and alert mean?

All RSO's should re-register when their officers change since this lets SLICE know who are the new officers of your RSO. Once you have re-registered, SLICE will update your officers on NvolveU.

The blue re-registration button is available at all times on your RSO's portal on NvolveU, the only time that you won't see it is when your RSO has a pending re-registration form that is waiting to be approved or denied. The re-registration button/alert on your RSO portal just alerts you that your RSO can re-register since you don’t have a pending re-registration. Just because you can see the re-registration button/alert, you are not required to complete a re-registration from unless you need to update your officers.

We leave the re-registration form open all year long since we know that RSO leadership changes at various times throughout the year with officers being removed, stepping down, dropping out of school ect. Leaving the re-registration form open all year allows RSOs to alert the SLICE office of officer changes when they occur since officer changes can occur at anytime during the year.

If your RSO has already re-registered this year, and your officers have not changed, there is no need for your RSO to re-register.

If you still have questions about the re-registration process, please reach out to SLICE at involved@unl.edu.
