FALL RSOs are those organizations that have officer elections and transition between November 1-January 31 and must meet FALL RSO Compliance Deadline of January 31.
Your President and Primary Programmer MUST complete On Demand Annual Orientation and your Treasurer MUST complete SOFS Treasurer Training located on the NvolveU homepage found here: https://unl.campuslabs.com/engage/ (first yellow box on the left) by January 31, 2026.
RSO Compliance Requirements:
1. Your current President MUST complete the RSO Re-Registration form found in your RSO’s portal on NvolveU.
• Click on Manage Organization and Re-Register (blue button) to fill out the form.
2. Each incoming President and Primary Programmer (could be Vice President, Secretary, or any officer or chairperson who will be submitting EPRs) MUST individually complete and pass Annual Orientation (score of at least 80%).
3. Each incoming Treasurer MUST complete and pass SOFS Treasurer Training (score of at least 80%).
4. Ensure your RSO has a positive balance in your SOFS account (if applicable).
5. Follow election procedures outlined in your Constitution to elect new officers.
Once the above is completed, please update your Roster found in your RSO’s portal on NvolveU to remove all members who are not active or have graduated. FSL Chapters can skip this step as your rosters are managed by the FSL Office.
Update your Primary Contact
SLICE highly encourages each Fall RSO to complete their elections by early December, so new officers can complete their transitions before the end of the semester. If your RSO doesn’t complete these steps by mid-January, they will no longer be “In Compliance” and will become “Frozen.”
Frozen RSOs CANNOT:
• Participate in SLICE events (including Big Red Welcome, Nvolvement Fair-City, Nvolvement Fair-East, and Spring Nvolvement Fair).
• Submit EPRs or host events.
• Access their SOFS accounts.
• Have their NvolveU portals seen by the public.
Many Huskers look to get involved during the spring semester, so this is not the time to let your RSO fall “Out of Compliance.”
