City Impact, located in Lincoln Nebraska, empowers under-resourced communities by providing holistic youth, family, and neighborhood development programs and services. Students can help by reading to youth, assisting them with homework and facilitating activities (coloring, sports)

The Good Neighbor Community Center (GNCC) offers essential and emergency services, providing support to families and individuals in Lincoln and Lancaster County. Volunteers will have the opportunity to organize a donations and distribute items to individuals.

Aging Partners
Wednesday, February 25 | 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Aging Partners plans, coordinates and advocates for older people in an eight-county area. Volunteers will assist with helping seniors use computers, set up instagram/facebook profiles, tips for how to use their computers and playing activities with them.

Linked2Literacy
Thursday, February 26 | 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.


Linked2Literacy inspires generations by providing inclusive books and literacy education through community partnerships. Volunteers will have the opportunity to organize literacy supplies for youth in the community and help facilitate arts and craft activities for kids.

As a part of Lincoln Parks and Recreation, “F” Street Community Center is committed to creating a safe, fun, recreation-based environment where children, adults and senior citizens can come together. Students can help with facilitating activities for youth (foosball, coloring, basketball..etc).

People’s City Mission was started in 1907 by local churches, offering food and shelter for transient and impoverished men, women and children. This volunteer opportunity will involve sorting clothes and distributing items.
