Campus Recreation will offer several new cooking classes this spring at the recently-completed Wellness Kitchen in the Rec & Wellness Center on East Campus. The kitchen features state-of-the art technology, including projection of the head cook and stovetop onto a large monitor for easy-to-follow instruction. Class participants enjoy a hands-on experience with the opportunity to take part in all aspects of the cooking process. Each class includes a cooking coach, food and all materials needed unless otherwise noted.
Topics include the following:
Guest-Led Cooking
April 12 | 6-7:30 p.m.
This class will feature Farm to Fork, where participants will use all of their senses to discover local produce at its best.
$20 for UNL students or CREC members | $25 for General Public

April 20 | 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Guests from the UNL and Lincoln Community will be invited to showcase different foods, recipes and styles of cooking. All attendees will get a taste, no meal provided.
Specialty Cooking
April 26 | 6-7:30 p.m.
Get your family in the kitchen to learn how to create a simple and healthy meal. Learn ways to incorporate each family member into the mealtime routine.
