EMERALD is an interest group for a new Latina sorority on campus. Our main goal is to serve our higher education institution and to support underrepresented populations. This organization will focus on being a support group built around the values of unity, honesty, integrity, and leadership.
For the upcoming holiday season, EMERALD will be partnering with El Centro de las Americas – a local non-profit organization serving the Latino/a/x community – and will be doing a Christmas toy drive for children in our community.
We are asking to please consider participating in this fun and rewarding event. In order to participate, we ask to please purchase a toy(s) for a boy or girl, and drop it off between October 22nd and November 12th at The Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center. Our organization will take care of wrapping all gifts and delivering them.
